Before Results Day
- Engage with any applicant and subject information we have sent you. This includes your individual choices, option blocks and engaging with essential and useful information on our website under Transition to Sixth Form.
On Results Day
- Collect your GCSE Level results from your current school.
- If you wish to take up your place with us, and have met the school and course requirements, email the Sixth Form Admissions email to confirm or decline your place with us. You should attach a copy of your results to the email.
- Prepare for tomorrow – when is your interview slot?
Enrolment Day (Friday 13th August)
- Come along to Durham Johnston in time for your interview slot (by surname). You will be able to park in the school car park. The main entrance will be unavailable, but your route to the Sixth Form Area for your interview will be well signposted.
- For some of you, this will be your first visit to our school and so we hope to be able to give you a short tour of the school.
- Please do a lateral flow test before you come for your interview.

What if I can’t attend because I am isolating?
- Please let us know that you are isolating as soon as you know, by emailing sixthformadmissions@durhamjohnston.org.uk (you have been using this email throughout the application process).
