DPR / Subject Access Requests During Summer Break 2024

The school is closed from Friday 19th July to Wednesday 4th September.

During the closure, emails may not be monitored continuously and, therefore, SARs / Data Requests may not be completed within statutory deadlines.

We may not be able to complete SARs / Data Requests when the school is closed and there are no qualified staff on site to handle the request within the required one calendar month.

This may also apply if someone works across the period but doesn’t have access to the information to prepare all the requested data.

The school will monitor the school email inbox and will forward any requests to the GDPR Team.

Members of the GDPR Team will act as key contacts throughout the period of closure. The team can review requests and, wherever possible, fulfil the request within the statutory timeframe. The team can also review the request with our DPO and advise on any required extension transparently with the requester as quickly as possible.
