The State Funeral for Queen Elizabeth II will take place on Monday, 19th September 2022.
The Department for Education has advised schools that the day will be officially recognised as a Bank Holiday and all schools will be closed nationally.
Durham Johnston will re-open on Tuesday 20th September 2022.
