We are delighted to celebrate the hard work and achievements of the students at Durham Johnston. We also want to acknowledge the support given by our teachers and parents. Exam success is always based upon team work. Good results also open doors for students and allow them to take their next steps into further education, employment or additional training. Whilst students get their results at 18, their success is based upon planning from when they join the school, whether that was aged 11 or aged 16.

* We haven’t included data from 2020. Those results were based upon Centre Assessed Grades and our students were very successful, with a record number joining our 6th form and going on to further education, employment or training. A Level results highlighted an improvement on 2019 results, but as those results were not moderated and marked externally we felt it inappropriate to include them in any year on year comparison. The key thing from 2020 is that so many of our students have moved on successfully during a very difficult period nationally.
